I have finally completed my WordPress theme! It is still very basic but it has included some cool features that I have always liked. I still want to add a few more things and also finish off the top menu.

I also plan on adding a few more things like using the Gallery software and Gallery WordPress plugin to run my gallery. I will just have to see how things go but I want to do some of my own functions to really beef up my theme as well.
What I like most about this theme is that it is clean and does not deter to much from my core goal, ‘nice to look at and easy to read’.

I am well on the way in the design of my very first WordPress theme which is proving to be one of the most enthraling projects I have ever undertaken.
I have loved every bit of it especially because of the internal design of WordPress. I have designed many templates before including some on Joomla! which have not even given me half the enjoyment that designing a WordPress theme has.

Today I start creating my first Wordpress Template and yes from scratch. I am tired of having to work through crappy css and 100’s of function files. The template will be used for all the blogs that fall under my network (which will be released very soon).
Come back in about a week and I am sure I will have a brilliant new theme to grace my pages. I am still undecided if I will release it under a public license, but I am leaning more towards that side.
