I don't know if you've ever left something lying somewhere like a phone or wallet. When you realise it generally two things go through your mind which are "Please let it still be there!" and "If it isn't there hopefully someone handed it to management to keep for me!". Funnily enough I have sometimes gotten my items back to much relief but there are times when I haven't gotten it back...

That's the worst. To think that some opportunist took it and never cared about the real owner at all.
